MOYSHE ZELDOV

MOYSHE ZELDOV (1901-March 1, 1959)

            He was born in Vilkomir (Ukmergė), Lithuania.  He graduated from a Jewish high school.  In 1923 he moved to Paris, where he initially worked in a factory, later becoming a printer and simultaneously studying in university.  He was a Communist activist and for many years contributor and co-editor of Di naye prese (The new press) in Paris.  His book-length works include: Vos mishel dertseylt, mayselekh un legendes (What Michel recounts, tales and legends) (Paris: Oyfsnay, 1960), 124 pp.  He used the pen name: Goldin.  He died in Paris.
